OLD TOWN
Here
you will find old churches, picturesque architecture, museums, as
well as numerous tapas bars and restaurants. Next to the Moorish
quarter (Arrabal) are a group of monuments comprising the Torreo
de la Peça, the Town Walls and the church known as the Iglesia Vieja,
reputedly the sole surviving example of Mudejar-Gothic architecture
in Valencia, and the Moli Tower.
From
June to September, an Arts and Crafts Fair is held every day except
Mondays. The Calle José Antonio and the Plaza de Espana are well
worth visiting for its entertainment, workshops and art exhibitions.
You can also buy the works of different artists and craftsmen from
their stalls around the Plaza.
