PEÑON DE IFACH

The Phoenicians called Ifach the Northern Rock to distinguish it from Gibraltar, the Southern Rock. At 330m in height Ifach is now a nature reserve to protect its unique vegetation and over 300 species of animals. The reserve can be reached by walking up a zigzagging path offering panoramic views over the entire Marina Alta coastline.
