With 11 kilometres of coastline, Calpe has twelve
sandy beaches. The two main beaches are are linked by a promenade
approximately two miles long.
Among
the beaches, special mention should be made of the Playa de
la Fossa or the Playa de Levante, more than 1 km of wide sands,
ideal for swimming, diving and other sports. Arenal beach
is also outstanding. The beaches of Bol, Moli, Morello, Cantal
Roig and Calaga, have excellent fine sand and are less popular
and crowded thanthe beach at La Fossa.
